Travel Schedule

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010   Fly from U.S. to Beijing
Thursday, January 7th, 2010              Arrive in Beijing

Students from the US and Europe will depart on January 6, 2010 to arrive in Beijing on January 7.  Students from the Philippines, Hong Kong, and other Asia Pacific locations may depart on January 7 depending on flight schedules so long as they arrive in Beijing on January 7.

The last day of the spring semester is Friday, May 14th. The earliest you can book a return flight would be Saturday, May 15th. You may stay in your room at no charge until May 16th. If you’d like to stay later than the 16th, you can make arrangements in Beijing to stay extra days at the per diem rate (depending on space availability).

Beijing Travel Arrangements

 
There will not be a group flight offered to Beijing for spring 2010 students. You should plan to book a flight into Beijing on your own.

Students on the flights listed below that arrive in to Beijing on January 7th will be picked up at the airport by TBC staff. Remember to book your flight into the Beijing (PEK) airport. If you have made a reservation with the airline listed below, please select it:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

If you choose a flight not listed above, you can stay in the airport until one of the above flights arrives and join TBC then. Otherwise, you can request an electronic taxi card and take a taxi to TBC.

 It is imperative that all students complete the Transportation Advisory Form on the Beijing Center web site by November 30th http://www.thebeijingcenter.org/admissions/acceptedundergraduate/ so that we are aware of your travel plans.
